A chip on my shoulder…

When I was in high school all I wanted to do is play ball but I was the last guy cut up to my junior year and because of that experience, my life changed moving forward. I told my high school coach you would not stop me from playing ball and I walked on and played four years of college basketball. This chip continues into my work environment because it made me work harder to be the best at what I do. As the old saying goes “hard work pays off,” because next year, in 2021, I will be inducted into the highest honor of television called “BROADCASTING AND CABLE HALL OF FAME”. Not bad for a Central State University grad with a PE MAJOR.

Please share your academic or social experience at your HBCU, your favorite class, hang-out joint, homecoming game, student center, on or off-campus party, and Greek show. If you pledged a fraternity or sorority, we want to hear about those stories too. The goal is to use your Story to promote and uplift the HBCU brand. Your HBCU prepared you for success, and now we want everyone to read about a real HBCU Experience.
