In this category we will acknowledge the contributions of an female Entertainer of the Year. Nominees in this category should exhibit significant competence in all aspects of their career in either sports, film, television, art, literature, stage, or live performances.  

 

The entertainer's brand and accomplishments should rise above others in the areas of leadership, creativity, and philanthropy. The Female Entertainer of the Year does not have to be an HBCU Alumni but must embody “Black Excellence” within the African American community.
