Journey Carter is an 18 year old Entrepreneur, Designer, Actress and College Student. At the age of 12 she created The Journey Collection, a beautifully unique hair accessories line featuring one- of-a-kind handmade bows. The line has evolved into streetwear pieces including hoodies, t-shirts and hats, all with a socially conscious theme, featuring Journey's own hand-sketched artwork. An HBCU student and working actress, Journey is attending Prairie View A&M University, majoring in Architecture, class of 2024 while also filming a new television show for BET+. She has had recent roles in Ava DuVernay and Colin Kaepernick’s “Colin in Black & White”, the CBS drama "All Rise" and a recurring role on the Netflix comedy “Family Reunion.” Journey also developed a podcast, which is quickly gaining momentum, with her best friend, Lucky Kyle, called Good Talk. Inspiration and philanthropy is at the heart of this young powerhouse, portions of the proceeds from The Journey Collection hair accessories go to gifting bows to girls and teens battling cancer. Very active in her church, Journey is also an accomplished singer, dancer, varsity cheerleader, and is a self-professed sneakerhead.
