Kym Whitley is a renowned comedian, award-winning actress, host, and author. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she spent her formative years in Khartoum, Sudan, where she discovered her natural talent for making people laugh. Encouraged by a chance encounter with Redd Foxx, who recognized her comedic potential, Kym embarked on a career as a stand-up comedian in Hollywood.
Her exceptional comedic abilities soon propelled her to success, and Kym Whitley became a sought-after actress in the entertainment industry. She showcased her versatility as a comedic talent through memorable roles in popular TV shows like ABC's "My Wife and Kids," CBS's "Two Broke Girls," Disney's "That's So Raven," TV Land's "Soul Man," and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
