Actress and singer, Melissa L. Williams was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As the oldest of six, she would often utilize her familial holiday gatherings to put together and star in her own talent show. She fell in love with acting at 10 years old after participating in an Easter play at her church. Most of her early training came from being cast in several musicals at a local theater company which ultimately led to her and her Lil Shop of Horrors cast-mates being featured in an article in The Daily Oklahoman. Melissa moved to Atlanta for college and attended Clark Atlanta University. She majored in Theatre and was heavily involved in the university's drama club, CAU Players. Her most memorable role was playing Carmen in F.A.M.E. She made the move to Los Angeles and has been making memorable impressions ever since by booking several television, film, and commercial jobs.
