Not long after Jackson State prevailed in the SWAC to earn a spot in the Celebration Bowl, Tigers coach Deion Sanders was hired as the 28th head coach of CU Boulder. Sanders will complete the season as head coach of JSU, and take them to compete in the Celebration Bowl. Coach Prime campaigned for wide receivers coach T.C. Taylor to succeed him at Jackson State.
