Initially, HBCUs focused on trades and teacher training, but now they focus on innovation and engagement of new technology.  HBCUs revolutionized the way the world identifies where new industry leaders are conceived. Their academic achievements impact the world and our communities every day,  this necessitates the need to highlight HBCU programs that are dedicated to STEM.
