So far, Alabama State has had two non-conference wins against Howard University and Miles College.However, the Hornets will face a difficult challenge this weekend. Alabama State (2-0) will be flying out to Los Angeles this Saturday, Sept. 10 to play against UCLA (1-0). The game is set to start at 4 p.m.
The UCLA Bruins compete in the Pacific-12 Conference, which includes USC, Arizona, Oregon and other top Division I sides. UCLA's season-opening win over Bowling Green was a convincing 45-17 victory. Alabama State seems to be relying on its defense this week.
