Head Coach Hue Jackson has received his first collegiate victory with after this past weekends Grambling State University win over Northwestern State at Independence Bowl Stadium. This 47 - 21 win puts his season at a 1-1 start and puts momentum behind Hawkins who threw for 292 yards.
