HBCU GO Announces nationwide streaming of SWAC




The proudest network in America has come out with some exciting news!

Byron Allen’s HBCU GO is now streaming nationwide, and you can watch the 2022-23 SWAC season on their new platform.


Allen Media Group, owned by Byron Allen, announced that its free-streaming digital platform, HBCU GO, the leading media provider for the nation’s 105 historically Black colleges and universities, is entering into a multi-year partnership with the Southwestern Athletic Conference.


The historic partnership and deal will grant HBCU GO cable, linear streaming rights to premier NCAA Division I Athletic HBCU events. Some games may also air on Allen Media’s free-streaming digital platforms TheGrio Local Now Sports TV."



According to HBCU Gameday HBCU GO has also secured distribution with stations Nexstar, Gray, Cox, Scripps, Tegna, Sinclair, Lockwood, Allen Media Broadcasting, Hearst, Circle City Broadcasting, McKinnon Broadcasting, Cowles, Graham, Block, Sun Broadcasting, Tougaloo College, Sagamore Hill, and Marquee.


HBCU GO programming is available on HBCUGO.TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV. Viewers can also access programming by downloading the HBCU GO App.
